Job description

Our client is a leading global supplier of automotive products.

Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for maintaining and continuously improving mechanical production equipment, spare parts, and machine in the production area to reduce downtime, maintenance costs, and scrap levels.
  • Being responsible for maintaining and improving mechanical production equipment and systems.
  • Assisting Maintenance Leader in the management of the department.
  • Ensuring a proper diagnosis of mechanical problems, repair, and restart of production machinery of responsibility in case of breakdowns.
  • Ensuring the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy (including implementation support, maintenance process improvements including SAP PM, interfaces with other departments, condition monitoring tools implementation, etc.).
  • Ensuring environment, Safety, and Health requirement fulfillment in the area of responsibility.
  • Informing and ensuring the involvement of Maintenance employees on ESH issues.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and ensuring the implementation of potential mechanical improvements (including cost savings) on production machinery in cooperation with other departments (Production, Quality, and Purchasing).
  • Maintaining professional and technical mechanical / pneumatical / hydraulic knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Training and participating in the evaluation of mechanics in the area.
  • Maintaining updated mechanical documentation (AutoCAD plans, mechanical, pneumatical, hydraulic drawings, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Over 3 years in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experienced in managing or executing maintenance plans in Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems.
  • Experienced in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projects.
  • Regular international contacts through projects, colleagues, or suppliers.
  • Good English command.
