About the role
As Country Manager , this position will oversee and manage all operations in the Thailand office, ensuring business goals align with the company’s overall strategic objectives. This role requires strong leadership / people management & team building, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination skills to drive business growth. You will also navigate a complex global environment - collaborating with the Global Team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Country Manager include (but aren’t limited to) the following :
Strategic Leadership & People Management :
- Provide strategic execution plan to expand business and team lead to achieve KPI
- Lead the team, motivate and maintain the high-performing (Sales / Operations both)
- Oversee the office management, compliance and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Business Growth & Operational Leadership :
Monitor overall industry trends, competitors and make strategies to grow business.Oversee and manage end-to-end project delivery, daily operations of Thailand business.Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvementsDevelop and implement effective sales strategiesManage sales and operational excellence to make the team to provide timely and effective solutions ensuring strong client satisfaction, partnerships and retention.Lead and grow our Thailand business with full ownership of local operations.Stakeholder Engagement / Management :
Collaborate effectively across HQ and global offices to implement strategies and achieve shared business objectives.Provide regular business reporting and insights to Global HQ.Prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts, sharing insights on market trends and business opportunities.Liaise with Global teams to ensure brand consistency.Handle general administrative activities for smooth business operationRequirement / Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in general management, country leadership, or operations leadershipStrong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teamsDeep knowledge and understanding of Thai culture and business practices5+ years work experience in sales, operations, or customer success, preferably with hospitality tech, POS, or OTA platformsKnowledge and network in Hospitality industryAn ability to understand and analyze performance metricsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work effectively in a global, matrix-style organization, managing multiple stakeholders and prioritiesBased in Bangkok, ThailandAvailability to travel as neededLanguage skills (Must)
