Overview
This role will suport and provide oversight and governance to ensure all manufacturers of beverages, bottled water and Snacks products, are producing safe, legal and quality products that meet PepsiCo and local regulatory requirements to protect our consumers and the PepsiCo brand. It is responsible for quality system management, bottler / co-packer validation / qualification, as well as regular product quality & food safety monitoring, supporting new product launches and volume expansion, and corrective action planning for Q&FS non compliances, capability building and continuous improvement. It interfaces with several stakeholders within the business to drive, verify and ensure compliance to all PEP.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and Q&FS support in the assessment and qualification of potential manufacturing sites for Beverages, Bottled water, LRB and Snacks to include validation and qualification work, in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Build quality and food safety system management, ensuring quality and food safety standards and specifications are maintained in the roll out of new products and in the on-going by ensuring that compliance to Q&FS KPIs and programs are monitored and tracked
- Provide insights and advice to ensure that quality & food safety standards, systems, risk mitigation strategies and protocols are deployed and effective across the supply chain.
- Execute investigation and deep dive review of any Q&FS outages and develop corrective and preventive actions to address the issue and ensure that actions are being implemented against agreed timelines
- Implement sustainable capability building on site to ensure continuous improvement
- Effectively engage with cross-functional teams to deliver the requirements
