Position : Operational Excellence Specialist (OpEx Specialist)

Location : Nikom Amata City, Rayong

Report to : OpEx Manager (Expat)

Job Scope :

The OpEx Specialist leads deployment, periodic review, and effectiveness check for operating systems, including mechanisms and Lean Manufacturing tools. This role will support in the development of tools and processes to ensure consistency in the overall management and efficiency in the internal systems employed (Baxter Operating System – BOS) in the plant. This person will interact with all affected functional areas and will assist those areas in the implementation of any recommendations

Job Descriptions :

Responsible for coordinating execution of site level Operational Excellence deployment plan including BOS, VIP, Lean Academy, Certification Programs, Best Practice Sharing, and others as identified

Establishes baseline and target metrics for key processes (together with OpEx Site Manager), ensuring change will improve the overall operations of the plan

Maintains direct involvement with other functional areas, especially the production team, to drive implementation and continuous improvement.

Participates and / or Leads workshops of Operational excellence tools and initiatives.

Coordinates and Tracks progress of Lean and Six-Sigma Certification candidates to ensure timely completion of their identified certification projects

Be a safety role model.

Qualifications :

Bachelor of Industrial Engineering or related fields.

At least 3-5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement in Multinational Manufacturing Companies such as Electronic, Automotive, Chemical, FMCG, Healthcare, etc.

Lean Manufacturing and 6-sigma experience preferred.

Strong Written and Verbal Communication, including but not limited to teaching and coaching communication skills.

Strong facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills. The ability to drive change.

Strong analytical / statistical problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data.

Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office and Baxter internal systems).

Time management and organizational skills.

Working in a Team environment.

Must be able to directly lead and / or co-lead high impact process improvement projects / initiatives.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams.
