Overview

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership :

  • Proactive foresight & planning to take advantage of new innovation opportunities.
  • Portfolio Strategy & Demand Space mapping
  • Innovation framework – Platform architecture, Consumer Taste profiles, key trend captures, competitor monitoring, 4F Innovation principles, Innovation Council alignment.
  • Innovation Output :

  • Innovation Pipeline ownership – lift & scale / create – product expo, workshops, global / sector connects.
  • Cross functional lead for Innovation projects across regional, sector & global teams
  • Innovation beyond product – packaging, channel, experience
  • Building Innovation Culture :

  • Elevating quality & speed of NPD across the region
  • Embedding agile innovation mindset & new ways of working across Asia BU & MU teams
  • Qualifications

    Critical Experiences :

  • Bangkok, Thailand as our Regional HQ for Asia Bev is a preferred location for this role
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management, influencing senior management and vision setting.
  • Impeccable track record in end-to-end innovation with long term sustainable success
  • Strategic Capability – multi brand & market portfolio planning, actionable insights, data mining, trend capturing & deployment.
  • Innovation expertise – strong experience in leading large-scale end to end innovation projects.
  • Design Thinking – demonstrates ability to redesign processes, workflows to unlock speed to market, quality of output & white space innovation successes.
  • Commercial Acumen – different business models, size of prize, building business cases.
  • Capability Building – coaching, mentoring & development of innovation skillset & culture across the region.
  • Differentiating Competencies Required :

  • Stakeholder Management – strong influencer & leader across all levels of management & stakeholders
  • Ability to Operate at different altitudes – from long term strategic vision setting to detailed project milestones

  • Agile & comfortable with navigating ambiguity – track record of creating something from ‘nothing’
