POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Coordinator is in charge of the Sales and Marketing department office organization by assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Sales in all administrative matters related to the Sales & Marketing department including handling enquiries; making bookings and appointments; drafting proposals and contracts; and preparing and assisting in hotel tours to support the department to achieve and exceed the forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage and all other revenue departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and secretarial support for the Sales and Marketing department.
• Coordinate and arrange appointments and schedules.
• Handle daily correspondence and financial documents
• Conduct competition checks and benchmarking on a regular basis.
• Create office presentations and report
• Determine, implement and maintain the procedures and standards of an effective filing system.
• Provide adequate supplies of stationary and ensures that the forms are used and kept updated at all times.
• Assist with the co-ordination of direct mail campaigns on behalf of sales and marketing, labeling, data collection and distribution of mail items
• Ensure the efficient liaison between the sales office and other sales offices in sister hotels, including the distribution of our sales correspondence and collateral to other hotels.
• Annual contracting administration for corporate and leisure business.
