Associate Procurement Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and execute procurement strategies for direct and indirect categories to optimize cost quality and supplier performance.

Savings & Cash Optimization: Drive cost savings initiatives negotiate contracts and implement cash extension strategies to improve working capital.

Process Excellence & Digitalization: Lead procurement process improvements automation and digitalization to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain R&D Quality and Finance to align procurement strategies with business needs.

Supplier & Risk Management: Develop strong supplier relationships mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

Talent Development & Leadership: Coach mentor and develop the procurement team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Change & Innovation: Challenge the status quo drive innovative sourcing solutions and implement best practices to create long-term value.

Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Conduct (COC) policy.

Spend in Scope for direct portfolio (Chemicals Packaging & Contract Manufacturing): >20m USD

Spend in Scope for indirect portfolio (Business services Capex Equipment & Logistics): >20m USD

Team management: One person in direct portfolio reporting and One person dotted line in indirect portfolio

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Administration Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree & experience in Chemical industry is a plus

Minimum 6 years of procurement experience with at least 2 years in people manager role

Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Good English language skills both oral and written is a must.
