Director of Engineering (Thai)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamicDirector of Engineeringto lead the Engineering Division and ensure the efficient operation maintenance safety and sustainability of all hotel facilities and systems.

As a member of theExecutive Committee the Director of Engineering plays a strategic leadership role in driving operational excellence asset protection energy management capital planning and exceptional guest experiences while supporting the hotels overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Engineering operations including building maintenance mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC kitchen and laundry equipment fire and life safety systems preventive maintenance programsand landscaping.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations health and safety requirements fire and life safety standards and company policies.
• Manage the Engineering budget monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Lead energy conservation and sustainability initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support the hotels ESG objectives.
• Plan coordinate and oversee renovation projects capital expenditures (CAPEX) and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and operational support.
• Lead coach and develop the Engineering team fostering a culture of accountability continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Participate actively in Executive Committee meetings and contribute to the hotels strategic planning business performance and operational decision-making.
• Ensure the hotels facilities consistently meet luxury hospitality standards and deliver a safe comfortable and memorable experience for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 810 years of engineering leadership experience in the hospitality industry with at least 3 years in a Director of Engineering or senior engineering management role.
• Strong technical knowledge of hotel building systems engineering operations preventive maintenance and project management.
• Excellent knowledge of fire and life safety regulations risk management and statutory compliance.
• Proven leadership financial acumen and project management skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in engineering maintenance systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
