Factory Manager (New Plant)

Job Description

Job Overview:

Lead the setup and launch of a new manufacturing facility from the ground up. Oversee factory setup establish operational systems manage production and contractor performance and drive a successful transition into full-scale manufacturing while ensuring high standards of quality safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the setup commissioning and launch of a new manufacturing plant.

• Establish production processes operating systems and manufacturing standards.

• Manage daily factory operations production planning scheduling and workflow.

• Build manage and evaluate contractor performance to ensure quality and delivery.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity quality and cost efficiency.

• Manage production budgets KPIs and overall operational performance.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with product specifications and engineering changes.

• Ensure compliance with health safety quality and housekeeping standards.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support the scale-up of manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations including at least 5 years in a factory leadership role.

• Proven experience in new plant setup factory commissioning or green field manufacturing projects.

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Production Planning and Continuous Improvement.

• Experience managing contractors suppliers or outsourced manufacturing operations.

• Strong leadership project management and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in both Thai and English and able to travel internationally for approximately 8 weeks of on-boarding and technical training.
