Job Description
To perform the daily P&L monitoring and exception reporting for the Global Markets (GM) business.
Production of daily Profit and Loss (P&L) reports to monitor trading portfolio performance.
Perform analysis and attribution of portfolio P&L due to market movements.
P&L reconciliation against General Ledger.
Trade surveillance including OMR monitoring FX Global Code Monitoring and Wash Trade Monitoring
Be a key contact point for GM P&L and valuation issues interacting with Global Markets front office Finance Market Risk Managers and Group Head Office counterparts.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Risk Management or a related discipline.
36 years of experience in Product Control Market Risk Finance Valuation Control or Risk Management within Global Markets.
Practical understanding of traded products such as FX rates and derivatives is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a control and risk mindset. Solid knowledge of P&L analysis reconciliation and valuation principles.
Experience working with trading systems risk systems or P&L reporting tools.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with automation or reporting tools is an advantage.
