Director of Franchising

About the role

The Director of Franchising will develop and execute the franchise strategy for both brands, identify and secure qualified franchise partners, negotiate agreements and build a scalable franchise organization that supports profitable, long-term growth. The successful candidate will be a proven deal maker with strong negotiation skills, investor relationships and a deep understanding of restaurant franchising and unit economics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute franchise growth strategy for Big Boy and Scoozi Pizza
• Recruit and qualify franchise partners (single-unit, multi-unit and area development)
• Lead franchise sales process from lead generation through to signed agreement
• Negotiate and finalize franchise agreements
• Work with real estate and development teams to secure prime locations
• Develop franchisee financial models and ensure attractive franchisee returns
• Oversee franchisee onboarding and support pre-opening and post-opening
• Manage franchisee relationships and drive multi-unit expansion
• Build, lead and develop the franchising team
• Drive brand awareness and franchise marketing initiatives

About you

• 8–12+ years of experience in franchise development, restaurant franchising or related business development
• Proven track record in recruiting and closing franchisees, including multi-unit agreements
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills
• Deep understanding of restaurant operations, unit economics and real estate
• Strong network of investors, entrepreneurs and restaurant operators in Thailand is highly desirable
• Fluent in English; Thai language skills preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Finance or related field
