Housekeeping Manager FMX

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces.

  • Ensure consistent adherence to resort standards of cleanliness presentation and hygiene.

  • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules deep-cleaning programs and preventive maintenance routines.

• Team Management & Development

  • Recruit train and mentor housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.

  • Foster a positive professional and collaborative team culture.

• Guest Experience & Service Quality

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping.

  • Collaborate with Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Support VIP arrivals and special arrangements with personalized housekeeping services.

• Administration & Resource Control

  • Manage departmental budgets inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and amenities.

  • Monitor linen and laundry operations to ensure efficiency and quality.

  • Maintain compliance with health safety and environmental standards.

• Innovation & Sustainability

  • Introduce eco-friendly practices and sustainable housekeeping initiatives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or resort environment.

• Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.

• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures cleaning techniques and hygiene standards.

• Ability to manage budgets schedules and staff effectively.

• Commitment to guest satisfaction and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with property management systems and housekeeping software is an advantage
