As a BIM Technician at Arup, you will use Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies to support the seamless integration of design and construction processes across a diverse range of projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and maintain high-quality BIM models, coordinate with various disciplines, and produce accurate construction documentation to support project delivery. You will also help drive BIM best practices, ensuring model integrity, data accuracy, and compliance with project requirements while contributing to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows.

The Opportunity

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models across multiple project stages, from concept design through to construction.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure model consistency, coordination, and information accuracy.
• Support BIM implementation on projects, including the application and enforcement of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of BIM deliverables, documentation, reports, and project information.
• Represent the team in internal and external meetings, provide guidance to colleagues where required, and contribute to research, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Is this role right for you?

• A recognised qualification in Building and Construction, Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Services, or a related discipline.
• Experience within an MEP Building Services environment, ideally gained within a consulting engineering business.
• Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, Revizto, and Bluebeam.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards, solve problems effectively, and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration in a fast-paced project environment.
